How Bababouncy works

A quick tour of every button β€” from loading a picture to shaking it like jelly. Follow along in the app.

Get a picture in

Paste a link in the URL bar

Type or paste a direct image link (.jpg, .png…) or a normal web-page link β€” Bababouncy finds the page's main image for you. The little βœ• inside the field clears just the text.

πŸ“·02-paste-button.png

The Paste button

One tap grabs whatever's on your clipboard: a link drops into the URL bar, and a copied image loads straight into Edit mode β€” no typing.

πŸ“·03-load-button.png

The Load button

Fetches the image from the link in the URL bar and opens it, ready for bouncy areas.

πŸ“·04-photo-library.png

Pick from your photos

The photo icon opens your library so you can bring in any picture on your device.

πŸ“·05-clear-button.png

The Clear button

Closes the current picture and asks first: keep it in History to reopen later (bouncy areas and all), or remove it completely.

Your History

πŸ“·06-history.png

History β€” everything you've made

The clock icon opens every picture you've worked on, stored offline. Reopen any one to keep editing or update an old design. Each row can be starred (pinned to the top), locked behind Face ID, duplicated, or deleted.

Edit & play

πŸ“·07-edit-view-switch.png

Edit / View switch

Edit is where you set up the picture and its bouncy areas. View is where you play β€” poke, drag, pinch and shake. Flip between them anytime with the switch up top.

πŸ“·08-sample-frog.png

Try the sample frog β€” it's free

New here? Tap Try the sample frog to load a ready-made example with two bouncy eyes. It never uses one of your daily pictures, so poke around with zero worry.

Add bouncy areas (Edit mode)

πŸ“·09-add-circle.png

Add a circle

Tap the image anywhere to drop a bouncy circle, or use Add circle at center. Tap any circle to select it.

πŸ“·10-draw-area.png

Draw your own area

Want a custom shape? Tap Draw your own area and trace any closed loop with one finger β€” it becomes a bouncy area with that exact outline.

πŸ“·11-knobs.png

The knobs on a selected area

Select an area and four little handles appear around it β€” each a different colour for a different job.

  • Top Β· purple β€” rotate Turn the area to any angle.
  • Center Β· pink β€” wobble anchor Drag it to move the spot the squish pulls hardest toward.
  • Bottom-right Β· yellow β€” resize Drag to grow or shrink it β€” or pinch the area with two fingers.
  • Bottom Β· white β€” move Drag the white handle to reposition the whole area β€” easier than grabbing a tiny area directly.

Polish the picture

πŸ“·12-image-tools.png

Crop, Mirror, Rotate, Adjust

Four tools tidy the picture itself. Crop trims and reframes; Mirror flips left–right; Rotate turns it 90Β°; Adjust darkens or brightens spots in the picture's own colours. Your bouncy areas stay locked to the content through all of them.

Bring it to life

πŸ“·13-shake-to-wobble.png

Shake to wobble

Turn on Shake to wobble and a shake of your iPhone or iPad jiggles every bouncy area in the direction you shook. The sensitivity slider sets how gentle a shake it takes.

Ready to squish?

That's the whole app. Grab Bababouncy and make your first squishy picture.
